I am pretty stubborn, but I’ve decided I have to give up that. I renounce my self centered ways for he Lordship of Christ. Perhaps some of you can relate to the stubbornness part, but you haven’t yet surrendered to Jesus.
His plan for us is better than our own!
It took a lot for me to finally surrender. It took a long time too. We’re not talking about years we are talking about decades that it took for me to surrender. So if it’s hard for you to surrender I get that. We are stubborn creatures by nature.
The book of Revelation it’s really important to people right now. We are living in chapter 3. Chapter 4 is what’s coming next. It is the rapture of the church. You don’t want to miss that because if you do, you will suffer through the seven-year tribulation where many things will happen —and they are all bad. If you think 2020 was bad, it was nothing compared to what will come if you are not caught up in the air with Jesus when the church is raptured.
There will be all kinds of diseases and natural disasters. The Bible says an asteroid will hit the earth and the impact will be so hard that you won’t see the sun for days and it will turn much of the water bad. There will be wars and nations will be overthrown. The United States will fall. Billions of people will die during the seven-year tribulation.
Why would God do this to us? To give us one last chance to repent and turn to Him. When all the Christians are taken, the government will make up some excuse about where we went. Don’t believe it. Believe the word of God which is the Bible. All the things in the book of revelation will happen. If you are more stubborn than me, you’ll wait to see if it happens. This will be the final call to you. I strongly suggest you don’t wait.
Now is the time to turn to Jesus. You and I don’t deserve His love or His forgiveness. We really don’t! Still he offers it to us anyways.
The Sheep and the Goats
31When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne. 32All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33He will place the sheep on His right and the goats on His left.
34Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in, 36I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me.’
37Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink? 38When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39When did we see You sick or in prison and visit You?’
40And the King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.’
41Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave Me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, I was naked and you did not clothe Me, I was sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
44And they too will reply, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’
45Then the King will answer, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for Me.’
46And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Matthew 25
The parable of the sheep and the goats is about church people. Which are you?
