Everyone has a need to understand not just the world we see, but the unseen world. God has one way of helping us understand spiritual things and the world has a totally different way.
As people with limited human minds, we are easily duped and distracted by the enemy. I’ve been duped in just about every way possible and it’s been a season of unlearning for me.
Christians, if you want to know the future, read the Book of Revelation. It’s in there. If you want to know your future, talk to God. He will let you in on it. Don’t be checking your demonic horoscopes. God will not bless that. It starts you on a slippery slope too. The Holy Spirit can lead you to knowledge about things in your immediate future.
Need healing? Ask the elders at your church to lay hands on you and pray for you. If they won’t, ask why. The church should be doing this. As Christians we should not turn to crystals.
Here’s what’s wrong with crystals. If you assign divine power like healing to an inanimate object that’s sorcery. You do not want to go down that path. Going down that path will lead you to spooky things. Spooky things aren’t for believers.
New age has their angels of light (really demons) to guide followers into truth (really deception) and astral projection. This is all really not good.
This is not who you are.
Someone may say to you, “Let’s ask the mediums and those who consult the spirits of the dead. With their whisperings and mutterings, they will tell us what to do.” But shouldn’t people ask God for guidance? Should the living seek guidance from the dead? Isaiah 8:14

- “Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.” Leviticus 19:31
- “If a person turns to mediums and necromancers, whoring after them, I will set my face against that person and will cut him off from among his people.” Leviticus 20:6
- “And when they say to you, “Inquire of the mediums and the necromancers who chirp and mutter,” should not a people inquire of their God? Should they inquire of the dead on behalf of the living?” Isaiah 8:19
There’s a lot more! As for mediums, oh the Bible clearly tells us not to do that. So why act in direct disobedience? When you pay a medium, you are paying for someone to get a message from a demon. Of course they know details no human would know because they are not human. They know your secrets.
A necromancer is someone who communicates with the dead. The blonde who has the popular TV show may be in fashion in the USA, but it’s clearly an abomination to God.
My mother had a nickname for me that no one else in the world knows. If a medium addressed me by that name and said she had a message from my mother for me, my response would be get behind me Satan. I know the message wouldn’t be from my departed mother, it would be from hell. No thank you. I’d rather talk to Jesus!
But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness 1 Tim 6:11
That is who you are.
As for me, I won’t even open a fortune cookie. I know who holds the future and life is worth the living because He lives.
