Ever feel like a square peg in trying to cram yourself into the round hole society has for you? If the answer is yes, know that you are not alone. There’s a reason why you feel different. It’s because you are. Your blueprint is different than anyone else’s blueprint.
For quite some time I was involved in genealogical research for our family tree and ended up getting some genetic testing. I couldn’t find what I was looking: a high percentage of Native American ancestry. For years our family believed we had this in our code. My genetic code which is my unique blueprint, didn’t match what I was told and the identity I had formed in my mind. I told my mother about it and she insisted the test must be wrong so she took it. She had the same results. The genes don’t lie.
Recently my nephew “T” popped up on my genetic match list. it showed we shared 11.9 % of our DNA. Now before you go thinking some bad things, you should know my brother is my half brother. So these results are consistent with that fact. My brother has a different father so our DNA code book is different; we reflect different fathers.
Your DNA makes you unique so it’s not quite okay if you don’t feel like you fit in. God made you the way you are and thinks you’re fabulous and beautiful.
Having the Holy Spirit living inside you might make it a little difficult to fit into that round hole that our society says we should fit into. That’s okay. You are allowed to have thinking that is different than society. That’s normal and it’s the goal.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2
You’re not supposed to be like this world; you’re supposed to be your own version of God living in you. Each animal, plant and person has a unique genetic make up. There’s only one you. Unless you’re an identical twin, you are the only one with that blueprint!
God loves you because He made you!
Our code book, our DNA, shows who we should be. My code in my dna test that I took predicted me pretty accurately. It predicted my hair and eye color even. I reflected that code book.
As Christians we reflect everything that’s in God’s book, the Bible.

That’s what you should should look like. Don’t feel worthy? You are! His word says you are.
