The Cure for Racism

We are one race!

We have a cure for racism; it just needs to be taught. Unfortunately, in our evolutionary, atheistic school systems, racism is perpetuated and reinforced. Let me tell you how.

In school, we have to fill out many forms asking questions about who we are and we have to check off boxes. The boxes include male or female, and maybe they’ve added more boxes for gender nowadays – I don’t know. Then we have to check off boxes for race. Why? We are all homo sapiens – without exception. You’ve never worked with or gone to school with or attended a social event with someone who isn’t a Homo sapiens.

Some may argue, “Well, I look like the people in my family because we are all white or we are all black.” Wrong! If you were to see me at a supermarket and someone asked you what color I was, you would say white. I would hold up my receipt to my face and ask you to point to which is white. Of course, the store receipt is white and so is copy paper. I’ve never seen a person the color of copy paper.

One of my hobbies is learning how to paint pictures. I buy paint. I don’t have a big collection but I do have a box full of different color paints. If I were to paint a picture of an albino person, I would not use the white paint exclusively. It would be combined with brown with a dash of pink. There are no “white” people.

I’ve been to Africa twice. My entire time in Africa I did not see one person that was black. My blender is black, my can opener is black, and my TV is black. There are no people who are the same color as my can opener. My cat is black and some would argue cats are people too, but that’s a story for a different day!

We are all one race: brown. We are just different shades of brown.

Science agrees now, apparently.

So what we need to do is immediately stop using labels. We need to get them off of government and school forms. Please contact your senators and members of Congress to tell them this is what you want.

As a Christian, I know the ultimate cure for racism is Jesus, but we don’t live in a Christian nation anymore, so I’m presenting the secular approach. Please let me know what do you think!

I’m a child of God who has found joy and peace in Jesus, the King of the universe. He alone is worthy of all praise and glory. I’m a bivocational pastor and vegan who crochets and talks all things Jesus.
