Our society is enamored with angels. We have many books, podcasts and videos about angels. Even there are films and TV shows with them in.
A lot of what society believes about angels isn’t accurate. Every time an angel is mentioned in the Bible, people are afraid. Real angels are described as large and bright. They are always described as males dressed in Roman soldier like apparel.
A lot of depictions we have include cute little babies or women. We get it totally wrong.
Demons masquerade as angels to new agers and Christian alike. We have to stop chasing the supernatural and start chasing Jesus!

Angels help people because it’s their assignment from God. We should not be seeking after them. Perhaps you heard somebody talk about an experience with an angel. Does that mean you should seek an experience? How do you even know their experience is real?
Many times the supernatural experiences can take us away from the mission of winning the lost to Christ. Sure we’re going to have some experiences we can’t explain, but our focus should be soul winning.
Angels are not the end game; Jesus is.
