Think about a friend of yours, I’ll do the same. Got one? Good. I’ll use my friend Aida. Suppose the doctor tells your friend (who hypothetically has no money) that he or she needs an operation. The operation will cost five dollars. Would you give that friend five dollars? Of course you would! What if the operation cost $500? Would you still give it? Of course you would! I know Aida is worth more than $500 to me and your friend worth a lot more than that to you.
So why would we pay $500 for someone worth less than 5$? Because we are more than these physical elements that make us up. We have a spiritual man inside us that is a very precious. It is that spiritual man that we love and would pay the money for.
What if the operation cost $5 million? I’m guessing you don’t have that; and neither do I. That would be a tragic situation. I would lose someone very precious to me.
Someone would pay $5 million to save your friend. He already did. Jesus who was the priceless son of God paid the ultimate price for your friend, my friend, you and I.

Who rebelled? Well in this verse it was talking about the children of Israel rebelling in the wilderness. Let’s face it though we’ve done our own rebelling against God. We’ve chosen to sin and yet He chose to reach out to us while we were still sinners.
Following Jesus is a logical choice. While he was on this earth he proved by the things he did that he was more than just a man.
An atheist worldview takes too much faith. This universe is mathematical and shows a lot of order. DNA code alone is enough to see that there is intelligent design behind people.
If you took apart your Apple Watch and put all the parts in a bag and shook that bag for 5 million years, would the parts come together in a functioning watch? Yep that is what atheists believe. They believe that all the elements just exploded into a universe of no design. That takes too much faith plus it’s silly.
Following Jesus is the only path to God and it’s the only way that makes sense logically.
