It’s too bad we grow up. We lose a lot of great qualities when we grow up. Children are wonderful gifts to teach us many lessons about life.
When you tell a child some thing, they believe it. They don’t analyze the statistical probabilities of what you say. You say it it’s 100% true. They don’t have this thing that adults have going on. This thing in the back of your mind that says well what if.
Child like faith or something that we should have.
Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 18:3
When were kids we want to be adults and then when we are adults we want to be kids. That’s not the idea behind this verse though. Our faith has to be genuine like the faith of a child.
Jesus said many things about faith. One I’m pondering is about big faith.
Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.
Mark 11:23
Yeah I don’t have that. I want that. I hope that I am on my way there. I keep a prayer journal and I get bolder and bolder in my prayers. Seems like nothing is too big for God. The bigger my prayers get the more He answers them. But I haven’t prayed for a mountain to move.
Is your faith growing?
