Scars of the heart

Scars of the heart sometimes kill you. They’re deep and they often affect your physical health and can be reflected by our actions towards others.

You have to let your hurts go. To let them go you have to acknowledge them. You have to express them and forgive the offending person. Then Jesus has to be brought into the healing process.

The Holy Spirit wants to transform you.

You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

John 8:32

The truth sets us free and leads to freedom. When we stop believing the lies and start believing the truth, in doing so we become free.

3He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds

Psalm 147:3

The bad feelings that won’t go away need to be healed. Maybe guilt, hurt or lacks of needs have to be acknowledged and brought to the Lord so He can heal the heart.

We build walls around our hearts to protect ourselves from outside hurt. Walls keep out hurt but they also keep out love and healing.

When we remember a bad event, we can invite the Holy Spirit into the memory so we can heal from that trauma. Anything that blocks the Father’s love has to go.

We have to release our trauma to Jesus. When we do that we release more than trauma. We must let go of hindrances to God’s love being felt by us. The truth is God, crazily loves us and he couldn’t love us anymore than he already does. He is all in; are you?

Will that truth set you free?
