Can God heal my heart?

3He was despised and rejected—a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised and we did not care.

Isaiah 53:3

Jesus was no stranger to grief. He was despised by the people whom He came for. They turned their backs on him and didn’t rescue Him.

God cares about your hurts because He cares about you. He wants to patch up your emotional wounds and heal you.

But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.

Isaiah 53:5

God wants you:

  1. Whole
  2. Healed

If you consider the whole context of this passage, it will show you that it is spiritual healing and our emotions that are intertwined with our spirit. He wants to transform you today. Counseling can take years, but in minutes God can heal you. Are you ready?

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

John 7:38 KJV

Want some living water? I do.

Think of a painful memory. Then consider what emotion do you feel in your stomach connected to that memory. Ask the Holy Spirit to heal that damaged emotion and praise Him for the gift of living water. Praise Him for all that He’s done for you especially on the cross. Do you feel that living water cleansing away your hurts?

Thank you for your healing and worship him today by playing some praise songs or hymns.
