The big news that was leaked from the Supreme Court was the possibility that it could overturn. The court is stacked in such a way that history could be changed.
What are the possible ramifications?
- Abortion could become illegal in at least states quickly with trigger laws that would make it a felony to perform one in as little as 30 after the Court makes a ruling. (Source: NBC News)
- There will be an uptick in the use of the morning after pill in the other, which is safe for the mother. The back alley abortions need not take place like before Roe v Wade.
- A fight for personhood for fetuses which would in the long run would result in a federal ban.
- Planned Parenthood would lose a lot of their funding. The bulk of their business is abortions. They provide free contraceptives, but they provide no preventative health care or prenatal care. Call and try to schedule a prenatal visit at six months and you will either get a hang up or a brush off. They will get an uptick in contraceptive requests with the unavailability of convenience abortions.
- If there s a federal ban women would have to travel to a place where abortion isn’t illegal like Canada or Mexico in order to obtain a safe abortion.
There is no such thing as a safe abortion; one person is always killed. Those two words shouldn’t even be used together. Abortion rights proponents warn that women are going to die. Shouldn’t murderers die?
Many defendants of abortion bring up rape as an excuse for a right to abortion, but two wrongs don’t make a right. The death of a baby is more tragic than a rape. Don’t think it’s a baby?
I had a spontaneous abortion (medical term for a miscarriage in the second trimester) while living outside of my home country of USA. After the DNA test was done it was determined that my son had multiple genetic defects. God intervened and my child is with Him. The hospital released the body to my family for burial because it is proper to bury a human being.
My son looked like a baby not a clump of cells. Do a web search for photos of 8 week old fetuses and you will see that it is not a clump of cells – it’s a miracle. So at what point does a fetus become a baby? The Bible gives the answer!

Apparently there is more going on in Heaven than we know. A soul is known by God before birth. Apparently, there’s more going on than we know about. Perhaps in heaven there’s a nursery for souls. I don’t know, but God does!
Here’s His answer for the rape/incest scenario:
“Fathers shall not be put to death because of their children, nor shall children be put to death because of their fathers. Each one shall be put to death for his own sin.”
Deuteronomy 24:16
If God is mad at the United States for the abortion holocaust, maybe His anger will subside with the halting of the killing clinics which is what Planned Parenthood is.
