If you do a web search for the history of the Kaaba, the wikipedia site says that the Kaaba is pre-islamic. What? So the Kaaba was around before Islam. Why?
Now look at the Wikipedia for Hubal. It was a god worshipped in Arabia in the pre-islamic time. The Arabs of that area worshipped 360 idols that were contained in the Kaaba according to the Book of Idols by Hisham Ibn Al-Kalbi. When Muhammed conquered this area in Mecca, he destroyed the idols but the pagan altar to the moon god Hubal remained remained.
Ahmad Al Jalad historian of pre-islamic Arabia said in a tweet that for thousands of years they had Kabaas all over Arabia and they did the hadj to them. Other than all gods but Allah disappearing, the religious practices of the area remained basically the same. The name Abdullah existed thousands of years before Islam he said.
In Moon-god in the archeology of the Middle East by archeologist Robert Morey stated that Hubal was a moon god and worship of Allah evolved from it.
Problems with Islam:
- In 3:96 it says that the first house of worship established for mankind was at Bakkah (Makkah) – blessed and a guidance for the world. (in Mohammed’s time there was no mosque there! The sacred mosque was built after Mohammed’s death) Maybe the first house of Hubal worship was there, but Yahweh worship was in Jerusalem built in 957 BC.
- How come Jesus didn’t tell people to go visit the Kaaba? None of the prophets said this. They were insignificant and numerous.
- Why do they kiss the stone? A kiss is paying homage and it looks like idol worship. Where is the evidence that this was anything other than a pagan altar?
- Where do the sacred months come from? The preislamic pagan religion.
Back to Hubal, it was a moon god. It’s interesting that the symbol for Islam is a crescent moon. It’s like it’s hiding in plain sight. Mohammed was a pagan. He dropped all but the moon god, but continued all of his pagan rituals.
So Yahweh is not Allah. That is why Islam is so violently opposed to Judaism; it’s a competitor.
Jesus said I am the way and the truth and the life; no man comes to the Father but by me.
