OK this is for all who are struggling to get a breakthrough with God. Whether it be healing, deliverance or an answer to prayer sometimes it takes time, sometimes it takes fasting and prayer is always involved.
Before you came to Christ, you may have walked without God for a lot of years and made a lot of mistakes. You may have messed up on so many occasions you can’t even count them. Years turned into decades and still you didn’t serve God.
What you did do was pick up a lot of demonic garbage. It takes time to get rid of it all. You can’t expect what took years to accumulate to be gone in a couple weeks. It’s a slow process to gain freedom or breakthrough. Just keep seeking God and digging into him and into his word and you will break through. We know that faith comes by hearing and hearing comes by the word of God.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6
He will give you victory if you press in diligently. Show Him you mean business! Get down on your knees if that’s something you don’t usually do and can.
If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
Luke 11:13
Just don’t give up! God will take all those things from you that you held onto for so many years and in return, he will replace them with his nature.
He will complete the work that he has started in you. The Holy Spirit is His promise to do that!
So don’t even think about giving up my friend. God’s not through with you. Just show him you’re all in. Fast if you feel led. Seek prayer from others but you gotta put it in yourself. And get your praise on. Don’t be afraid to sing that song to God.
