Pray for a miracle? You can!

So faith in God is not a blank check. You can, however, pray for more than you think. First let’s address the elephant in the room: prosperity gospel. That’s not a biblical gospel.

Prosperity gospel says God wants to give you everything you want: nice house, new car, great job, and fat bank account. Where exactly is that in red? You know the red words in some Bibles are the ones that Jesus said.

If you want a miracle you have to learn how to pray. For consistent godly prayers you be abiding in Christ!

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

Romans 12:2

Are you living in the word of God or are you living on Netflix? You can’t wait for the next episode of a series that the world is fascinated by. Why are you putting the same thing in your tank that they are? If you feel up your spiritual tank with worldly things, and you were going to act worldly. Don’t expect your prayers to be answered if most of your time is spent with in on the world.

If you’re excited about the same things that the world is excited about, you have failed Christian. Come out of the world and be set apart and focus your attention back on him. Once you get your train on the right spiritual track then you can start having some powerful prayers.

Faith is what makes prayers powerful! Where does Faith come from? Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. The more you immerse yourself in the word of God, the more your faith will grow the word should become obsession. When I spend hours per day on my spiritual life, my faith is increased. And you can have that too my friend.

Jesus didn’t say if you have faith as a mango seed you can move this mountain. He chose a small seed. Schedule time for personal Bible study every morning and every evening and watch your faith blossom.
