12“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.13Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:12-13
Those of you who have given your lives to Christ have a new mission in life: bringing friends to the cross. If that’s not your mission, you’re probably a head knowledge Christian, and not a true follower of Christ. I’m sorry if that offends you, but if you’ve not attempted to win any of your friends to Christ this past year, you’re probably as lost as they are.
A real Christian gives his or her time to explain the gospel and what it has to offer a person. This is especially true with friends because you don’t want them to miss Heaven. Taking the time to explain to a person why they need to come to the cross is our duty. This is time well spent. You can’t schedule up yourself with church activities every day of the week and have time for loss people. Did some of the church activities and invest that time in lost people.
Spending money to meet the needs of unbelievers is also our duty. But it’s not just our duty it’s our treasurer. This is the good stuff that Jesus talked about investing your money in the kingdom of God. Giving money to people who are struggling is a way to show. Gods compassion, and love to them.
Another way that we gift to unbelievers is by modeling holiness. When we walk the walk and not just talk the talk people notice. It’s not normal in this world to live holy. When you do it, people take notice!
Remember that your bodies are a living sacrifice, so make it a holy and acceptable to God, and you will gain spiritual fruit and a harvest of souls for Jesus Christ.
