Lost

Many people have heard the “Lord’s Prayer.” They’ve either heard it at church or on TV or read it somewhere else. From it, we learn about the Trinity, “The Father, The Son, and Holy Ghost.”

I would venture to say that most people don’t understand the Trinity. I guess it’s so simple that people think that they couldn’t possibly explain it. There has to be more they conclude. They are three in one. It’s simple.

Man is three in one as well. We are the body, the soul and the spirit. A person’s spirit is dead until they are born again. Upon the regeneration process of a person’s spirit, the dead spirit becomes alive.

The struggle comes from the war between the flesh and the spirit. Paul wrote about this:

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Ephesians 6:12

We have to submit to God and his spirit to be holy. So it’s a battle. Our battle is a spiritual battle. We act and think from our flesh before converting to Christ.

Don’t ask lost people for directions.

Marcus Rodgers

What do do they know about what a Christian should do? Nothing! They’re lost! They run after idols and witchcraft and you seek counsel from them?

Christians you should not be taking advice from “Lost people.” Their spirit is dead so they cannot give you spiritual advice. Don’t share your innermost secrets with anyone other than a believer, because they probably will at a later point betray you. Every piece of advice they offer you is from their flesh.

God’s people should be our counselors. They should be the ones that we run to for advice and for help. Our inner circle should be Godly Christ followers not pew filling half in Christians. It’s definitely should not include nonbelievers. Don’t be that desperate.

The world has a lot to offer, but it comes with with price tags. What God has to offer is much better than what the world has to offer and the price has already been paid.

You MUST read the Spiritual Man by Watchman Née. It should be in every Christian’s library.
