Sinner or Saint?

Which are you? That’s the question every believer in Jesus has to settle in their own mind. Do you want to be a sinner who is constantly going back to God to ask for forgiveness or do you want to walk victoriously? Do you want to wake up praising God or wondering if you are going to screw up? Are you a new creation or are you the old man? Are you in Christ or in the other guy?

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

2 Cor 5:17

That’s who I am. I am in Christ. He is in me. The old Janet is dead. Bury her spiritually and celebrated the new life because even I don’t recognize me anymore. I don’t have the seeds of sin because the OLD IS GONE. See the above scripture if you don’t get that.

How do you walk in it? Renew your mind. That’s how. I want you to pig out. Really pig out. I want you to eat as much spiritual food as you can. Read the Bible, have it playing on your phone in your car, have it posted on signs in your house. Play spiritual songs all the time and constantly bring the Word of God into your life so that you are so filled with the Spirit that you leak out onto others.

Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit,

Eph 5:18 NLT

The old is gone, have a funeral for it and be on the lookout for the adversary, but be so filled with the Spirit that the devil doesn’t even want to come near you.
