Yes, you may think this is a joke, but it’s not. Many people don’t know about the Muslim holiday of Ashura and it is just that for Shia Muslims.
Ashura falls on the 10th day of Muharrem in the Muslim calendar, and it is a day of morning. in 680 A.D. Mohammed’s grandson was beheaded in a battle.
I’m not going to post a photo of Muslims celebrating this holiday because obviously it’s bloody. They literally cut themselves. Why? Cutting is a holdover from paganism. It’s demonic in nature, and that’s where the inspiration comes from.
Should we make fun of them? No, absolutely not! We should pray for them would you join me?
Father God, I ask you to open the spiritual eyes of all who practice Islam, and do cutting today. Please bring them to a saving knowledge of you, and give them true peace that is only found in you; let their cries be replaced by the joy of the Lord, the one true Lord Jesus Christ, and it’s in his name we pray. Amen.
