Can’t they all be true? Isn’t it nice to accept other religions? No and no.
But the Lord is the only true God, he is the living God, and the everlasting king! The whole earth trembles, and his anger, the nations cannot stand up to his wrath.
Jeremiah 10:10
So reason, number one is the word of God says it. That settles it for most people, but not all.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:6
Reason 2: Jesus said he was the only way. He wasn’t lying and he wasn’t crazy. He was, still is, and always will be Lord. almost all religions, affirm Jesus as something, but Jesus says they’re all full of hot air. And he spoke this universe into existence. We really should listen to his words.
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12
Reason 3: every New Testament writer affirmed it. And they met Jesus, or knew someone who met Jesus. First hand testimony is kind of hard to dismiss because it’s very accurate.
Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,
1 Timothy 4:1
Reason 4: other religions are inventions of demons. The new testament writers force saw this happening and included a warning for us who are living now. We see that happening.
The rise of the New Age and all of its components like crystals which are just rocks, and the power of positivity which is a doctrine of a demon rocks can’t heal you, but THE Rock can. Ascribing to rocks healing powers is witchcraft.
Sending positivity out into the universe, hoping someone will pick up is dangerous most of the time the wrong party picks up because we’re not directing it to God we’re directing it to the universe.
Mormonism, and Jehovah’s Witness are end times doctrines of demons. They demote the person of the trinity who came to this earth out of the Godhead. Not a great idea.
Islam worships, a moon God, not the creator of the universe. That’s why the Islamic flag has a moon and the stars on it. Elohim is the creator according to Genesis chapter one, not Allah. Mohammed was the worship of many gods before he invented Islam. He dropped all but Baal Allah which was shortened to Allah. He kept the Kaaba, which was pre-existing to Islam.
Everything about Hinduism screams demonic influence. The images from Hinduism are scared looking and not peaceful at all. Its evil twin sister — yoga has poses that are Hindu prayer poses.
5For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.
Psalms 96:5
We can’t call any of these groups of people brothers and sisters because they’re not.
Ecumenism isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. It may sound nice, but it’s just not truth. All religions do not point to the same God. They’re not all the same. If you’re a pastor, preaches, let’s all just get along message, you may want to consider getting a new pastor. You may want to get one who will tell you the truth!
