What’s your favorite time of day?
Morning is my favorite time of the day. I am a morning person.
When I start my day out well, the whole day goes well. Part of my morning ritual is to praise God and to read his word.
In the Bible, it says that Jesus is the word became flesh. He is the word, and his word is living and active.
It goes down to the deep parts of us and accomplishes what we can’t do on our own. We have to be reading his word every day in order for him to accomplish the transformation.
“But I’m busy” you say. How is that excuse going to work when you close your eyes for the last time and stand before God? It’s not going to work. You will feel so sad that you didn’t make him a priority in your life. You can make that change now! Make his word a priority and you will see great change in your life.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Romans 12:2
