What’s your #1 priority tomorrow?
Most people say when they’re traveling, things about their trip like, don’t forget the toothbrush, or some thing like that.
People prioritize things over what really matters. What really matters is people. I’m having a hard time writing this one. Even I haven’t put this on my social media because I don’t want anything there about this matter I’m sharing with you.
My step half-sister died yesterday. She was only 38. We don’t know the cause of death yet and we may not know for sometime. I couldn’t call my favorite cousin yesterday because I didn’t want to depress her on her birthday. And so now I have to apologize to her for not calling her and wishing her a happy birthday.
My stepmom is in shock as is everyone else in the family. Please keep my stepmom in your prayers. Pray that this tragedy will bring this side of my family to Christ.
So what is my priority for tomorrow? I’m already a person of prayer but I want to go deeper until every one of my family is saved and following Jesus 100%. I don’t want any of them to leave this life and enter into an eternity without God.
I was already changed when Jesus saved me, but this tragedy is also changing me.
God, please use this tragedy to make me the person you want me to be. Save all of my family and friends. Help remind me to pray for them continually. In Jesus name amen.
