When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?
Success means many things, depending on who’s looking in the mirror. To some people, it means lots of money. To some people it means fame. To some people it means followers.
To me, accomplishing God’s will for your life, living holy and leading other to Christ is success.
By that definition, Jesus, himself is the first person that comes to mind because he’s the only one that fully accomplished it.
Mohammed didn’t accomplish that he was a huge sinner. He directly authorized 43 killings plus more with jihad wars. He authorized domestic violence. (An- nisa v 34) He authorized the taking of slaves (look up 1788 Barbary coast slaves). https://youtu.be/de_06C_dRf0?si=g3nzW26tSPOX8kzo He was not a nice dude.
OK, so it’s not a fair comparison. Jesus was God so of course he’s holy. We are all bad before we come to Christ. What about people who are successful after they come to Christ? Well, there’s a lot of those people. here’s some of the people I admire, who have passed.
- Chuck Smith
- AA Lake
- Smith, Wigglesworth
- Lester Sumrall
- Thurman Scrivener
- My friends, Paul, and Ellen
None of them were rich, but they all pointed people to Christ. To me that is success.
Jesus said: I am the way, the truth and the life. No man can come to the father except by me.
He also said you must be born again to enter the kingdom of Heaven.
If Jesus spoke truth when he said the statements, every other religion is wrong.
Your eternal soul is at stake you can’t afford to get this wrong friends.
