What is your mission?
In the garden of Eden, the serpent came to Eve and tempted her, and she ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Then she shared it with her husband, Adam. It was at that point sin entered the world. From one man’s sin , we were all born in sin.
From one man’s righteousness, we all can be saved. Jesus Christ was fully God and fully human. His death paved the way for our complete salvation.
Before Christ, we were under over 630 Jewish laws. After Christ, we are not under those laws.
But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
Galatians 4:4-5
We are now sons and daughters of God, if we have repented and turned to Jesus and asked him to forgive our sins.
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
Romans 10:4
We are not under the law anymore. We are under Christ, who gives his spirit to govern us. You have to pick either you’re under the spirit or you’re under the law. Religions that insist on law, keeping those people will be judged by the law and found wanting.
For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.
James 2:10
Any religion that insists on keeping the law, and there are plenty of them, will cause a person not to experience the kingdom of God. that religion, essentially, curses, everyone in it.
My mission is to point people to God, who is father, son, and Holy Spirit. He is the chain breaker of false religion. He is the healer of trauma. He is the friend that will never leave you once you accept him into your life.
Perhaps you’ve been in a false religion that tells you you gotta do this you gotta do that in order to be saved. (go to mass, church on Saturday, pray 5 times day, knock on doors, etc) These religions will not save you; they will be your downfall when you reach Heaven‘s court!
Today is your day of freedom, friend. Ask Jesus to be the Lord of your life and forgive your sins. Ask him to give you the Holy Spirit. He will baptize you with a spirit which is himself. He will teach you all things. He will comfort you. He will change you inside to be like him.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, I pray, for everyone reading this article. I pray that they would turn to you today, and that the shackles of religion would be broken off in Jesus’ name amen.
In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
Hebrews 8:13
The old covenant included the 10 Commandments. Listen to God’s voice; He won’t steer you wrong.
