Will I win?

What would you do if you won the lottery?

I can’t win because I don’t buy tickets. I don’t put my hope in money. I put my hope in God.

It seems the more money a person has, the more miserable they are. In the outside they seem happy, but inside they struggle with relationships and they self medicate with distractions instead of God. They put people, substances, habits above Jesus. They make up a cozy god who accepts their sins and their idols. They have health problems because they eat meat every day because they can afford it.

The real God wants all of you. You can be married, but he has to be first place in your life. If you’re living with someone outside of marriage you probably haven’t met the real God yet nor do you have the fear of God in you.

Money is not evil, but the love of money is. If you’re buying lottery tickets, you probably love money more than God. I don’t want the devil’s lottery money. I want Jesus and everything that includes.

I’m a child of God who has found joy and peace in Jesus, the King of the universe. He alone is worthy of all praise and glory. I’m a bivocational pastor and vegan who crochets and talks all things Jesus.
