Christianity is religion about Jesus. It uses the Bible and it’s centered around Jesus.
Jesus followers use the Bible and they talk about Jesus. So what’s the difference between the two?
Religion is about doing things: singing songs, giving money, taking communion.
Jesus followers do all that, but there’s more.
Jesus followers listen to the still small voice and obey it. The spiritual man doesn’t live by the flesh, but by the spirit.
Which describes you?
- You don’t attend church regularly.
- You attend church and that is the extent of your relationship with God.
- You attend church and read your Bible occasionally.
- You attend all services and read your biblical daily
- You attend all services, read your Bible for at least an hour a day incorporating worship and prayer. You regularly share the gospel.
Which of these do you think is the desire of God for your life?
For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.
Luke 9:26
So are you a person who fills a pew or a person who makes a difference for the kingdom of God?
Are you an obedient servant of the King of the universe or are you living for yourself and worldly pleasures?
Considering the times we live in now, are you ready to go all in with Jesus? If you are, let me know so I can pray for you.
Blessings, dear readers.
