What is your favorite holiday? Why is it your favorite?

Resurrection Day as we call it in the church. There is so much evidence for the resurrection of Christ.

Jewish sources who were hostile to Christ recorded it. Roman sources who were apathetic to Him recorded it. The apostles, recorded it, but they didn’t just record it. They died because they wouldn’t recant. People may die for the truth, but not for a lie. That’s some strong evidence.

Muslims say there was a switcheroo at the cross – a mass experience of seeing His face on another’s body.  Psychologist say that’s impossible. Such experiences are individual. And that shouldn’t be surprising the Quran got many things wrong confusing Moses‘s sister with Aaron sister, details about His birth and also many scientific facts. But the good news is Jesus is showing up in Muslim countries in strong ways. When people see Him in a dream or in real they have to convert.

The thing is, God came here and gave himself as a sacrifice for our wrongdoings our sin. Why wouldn’t anybody wanna follow him? To me it’s a no-brainer. When somebody loves you enough to sacrifice for you, it’s easy to love them back. He proved he was God on Easter.
