I hate the cold

How do you feel about cold weather?

I’ve always hated the cold. Warm weather is good for your mind and skin. Hit weather brings fun outside activities and summer produce.

People can be hot and cold too. Hot for Jesus is good cold not so much.  What about lukewarm for Jesus? It’s not so good.

¹⁵ I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! ¹⁶ So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. ¹⁷ You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.

Lukewarmness just isn’t so good. Lukewarm, means you have your interest in Jesus, but also attached to the world. It doesn’t end well. When you’re attached to the world, it drives you away from God. You can’t serve both the world and Jesus…
