You may think I do

Do you practice religion?

But I don’t. Organized religion is all about come and see whereas a relationship with God is not like that; it’s more like repent, listen and do the same.

You can fill a pew, but be totally n your way to hell. The five solas are essential to me.

The five solas of the Reformation, which distinguished the Reformers from the teachings of Rome, include sola scriptura (Scripture alone), solus Christus (Christ alone), sola fide (faith alone), sola gratia (grace alone), and soli Deo gloria (glory to God alone).

Matthew Barnett, the gospel coalition

We get to God by faith alone, but in order to be a true follower and hear his spirit, one has to walk in obedience to Him. That doesn’t happen in an organized religion setting. Church is supposed to be preparation for the real work. Not a come and see the show.

I’m a child of God who has found joy and peace in Jesus, the King of the universe. He alone is worthy of all praise and glory. I’m a bivocational pastor and vegan who crochets and talks all things Jesus.
