There’s a few differences

What traditions have you not kept that your parents had?

My life doesn’t revolve around drinking alcohol. Even I have a juicer which I used yesterday to make pineapple ginger juice for my son.

I sleep early on New Years Eve. I make vegan hopping John’s on new Years Day.

My mother always decorated for Easter. I don’t. I focus on the resurrection of Christ and it’s even better. It’s a celebration of how much God loved the world and what He did for us.

I don’t celebrate St Patrick’s day. It’s just an excuse to drink alcohol in my country.

I don’t celebrate the pumpkin holiday in October. I was at an event where I heard a former satanic high priest say that Satanists love it when Christians celebrate him. It opens doors for his demons to work. Are you a Christian with chronic illness? You probably opened a door and need a deliverance minister. Reach out to me and I’ll point you in the right direction or assist myself.

And no Santa. If you rearrange the letters in the word santa, what do you get? Satan. It may be just a coincidence but no Santa in my home.

I have new traditions and a new life. I wouldn’t trade it for the past.

Thank you Jesus for living inside of me.

I’m a child of God who has found joy and peace in Jesus, the King of the universe. He alone is worthy of all praise and glory. I’m a bivocational pastor and vegan who crochets and talks all things Jesus.
