Who are the biggest influences in your life?
Celebrity influence is waning, and that’s a good thing! People in my home country of the USA have lost respect from the general public. Hurrah!
So who influences my life? There’s a group of writers who although they didn’t get together personally, their writings were compiled into one collection the Bible.
If you’ve never read the Bible, you should know that christians call it the word of God. And if God had something to say to you, wouldn’t you want to know what he said before you go to meet him in person? You wouldn’t show up to a driving test without reading the driver’s manual or go to a school exam without reading that material, so why do life without reading his instruction book?
People who teach the Bible get my attention as long as they live what they teach.
There’s a few political conservatives who also get my attention. But I can’t say that they influence my life.
People living out godly lives, set a great example for others and for me. I like to think that i’m doing the same for them.
Tomorrow we celebrate the day when the king of the universe left his throne in heaven and came to live with a poor family to redeem us to the father in heaven. For that reason, Easter or as Christians call at Resurrection Sunday.
