What relationships have a positive impact on you?
Sinners know something most people don’t know. They know they need mercy from God.
Religious people think that their good works make them good people, and that their good works outweigh their bad works. When they stand before their God, they’re going to have a big problem with that approach. If Jesus doesn’t pay for a person’s sin, the person is going to have to pay themselves for their sin. That’s not going to go well for them.
Jesus didn’t really like religious people.They gave him a lot of problems. They ended up handing him to the Romans causing him to be crucified. Whenever Jesus mentioned the word religious, it was always in a negative light.
So if you’ve got a problem with religion, Jesus has a deal for you. It’s better than a deal, it’s a handout!
Sinners, on the other hand, know they can’t pay. They have a problem, but they’re willing to take a hand out. I know I am willing to take that hand out. And I did.
The God who spoke this world into existence has his hand out waiting for you O sinner. Will you take it?
