Can you share a positive example of where you’ve felt loved?

I can’t say I deserve love from God. But God has mercy on me. He pours His love into me daily. I’m sure he’s doing things for me when I don’t even know about them. He loves his children. Is everyone God’s child? I’d like to say yes, but scripture doesn’t support that.

Who is?

those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God

Romans 8:14

So this first tells us that
You have to 1. Receive the Spirit of God, and then 2. be led by God. (NOT yourself). Ouch.

Maybe another verse will say something different. Okay let’s look.

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs — heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Romans 8:16-17

Okay, so this says you have to have his Spirit. It doesn’t say anything about repenting though.

This is how we know we are in [Jesus]: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

1 John 2 5-6

Major ouch. Jesus walked holy. Is that even possible? Friends when you wrap yourself in Jesus, it is.

When god answers my prayers, I feel so loved by God. Like last night when I slept abnormally well for a woman my age. Thank you, Jesus!
