Write about your dream home.
Hey, everyone has their version of what a dream home would be. Mine is totally science fiction. It would have a laundry hamper that automatically sorts, washes, folds laundry or delivers on a hangar. It would have one kitchen appliance that does everything from chop to air fry. It would have growing spaces throughout with skylights above them. It’s basically the Jetsons house.
Life isn’t about houses, cars or money. It’s picking up the phone or mailing a card. It’s handing over the contents of your wallet to someone who really needs help. It’s about developing your relationship with God.
At the end of our lives, it really doesn’t matter what our house looks like, what car we drove, or how much money we had in the bank. All that will go to someone else. What really matters is what we did with Jesus.
People think, that they are good people.. it’s comforting to think that. We think that God puts our good deeds on a scale against our bad deeds, and that our good deeds will outweigh our bad deeds. That’s a bigger fantasy than, my jetson’s house.
God came to this earth. He spelled out his expectations and told us his plan. If you don’t read the Bible, you’re not going to know the plan and you’re gonna have trouble when you meet Jesus.
Things Jesus said
- I am the way in the truth and the life and no man comes to the father except by me ( that means all other religions don’t lead to heaven).
- You must be born again. I tell you the truth unless you’re born again.You won’t see the kingdom of God.
- Repent
He also talked about hell a lot.
