The laws of the land vs God’s law

Have you ever unintentionally broken the law?

Humans basically know what’s right and wrong, yet.We choose to do what’s wrong. In my country, there are some silly laws on the books that you could never guess.

  • In Arkansas, it’s illegal to pronounce the state’s name wrong.
  • In New Hampshire, it’s illegal to take seaweed from the ocean at night.
  • If you were thinking about letting your donkey sleep in a bathtub overnight in Arizona, rethink that plan because it’s illegal.

So who really knows if you’ve broken a law unintentionally, because there probably are some laws on the book that we have broken. I’ve never driven blindfolded in  Alabama, though, not because it’s illegal, but because who would?

God laws are more sensible. His laws protect us.

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall [a]direct your paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Our own understanding is often wrong. We think we know what’s right, but we think with limited human minds. God’s ways are always right. If we listen to his still small voice who is the Holy Spirit,
He will guide us.
