What’s a secret skill or ability you have or wish you had?
That would be cool, but not just cool it would be life changing. I could rewind to before I made the mistake or before I had the accident or before I said or did something to hurt somebody. If only.
But wait, I do have something special along that line.
“Come now, let’s settle this,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.Isaiah 1:9
That verse hits me deep in my gut. It’s amazing that the God who spoke this universe into existence would come to this earth and die on the cross for me, so that my scarlet sins could be white, like snow in God’s eyes.
What a beautiful love this is. Have you ever known such love like this with a mortal person? I have not.
Only Jesus would do this for me and for you.
If you don’t have a vibrant relationship with him yet, it’s not too late. I once had an 83-year-old cousin tell me it’s too late for me. I told him it’s not you’re still breathing and God wants to do a work in you. He prayed to receive Christ from his hospital room. My cousin’s daughter told me that they were sending him to hospice because of covid, there was nothing they could do for him.
But God.
So my son and I prayed for him, and he was instantly healed of covid his daughter told me two days later, and he was also healed of alzheimer’s. She had her coherent dad back.
He went to church for the first time since I’d known him, which was all my life. He has since gone on to be with Jesus and hallelujah I will see him again.
This post is lovingly dedicated to Richard.
