Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?
Life is tough. I can do it with God’s help.Or I can do it on my own. His word, The Holy Bible, is more than quotes; it is truth and life. The Bible is the inspired word of God, and, the Lord jumps out of the pages of it into our personal situations, if we are trusting in Him. No other religious writing has that kind of power to transform lives.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.
Proverbs 18:21
This verse affects the quality of my life. Because I have the Holy Spirit of God living in me. And so what I speak from the spirit comes to pass.
I try to remember this when struggling to not say something negative about somebody. It’s so easy to find the negative when people hurt you. This verse gives me inner strength to find the positive and people that are not lovable.
Jesus cares about every word I speak. I pray that from now on, they will be a blessing to myself and others.
