Who is your favorite historical figure?
The man who changed the historical timeline from BCE to CE is my favorite man. Jesus changed everything.
When Jesus came from heaven to Earth, it wasn’t with the fanfare that he deserved. He came very simply and accomplished what he needed to do = redeem us.
The love of God it’s more wonderful than we can even imagine.
How do we know that Jesus is just more than a legend? His influence goes far beyond an ordinary person. He changed art, music, and literature. He influenced people to build schools. Jesus followers do a lot of philanthropy. An encounter with Jesus can change your life permanently.
The Bible is more than a book. It’s historically accurate, but it also transforms lives and gives hope. We know that the words in the Bible have not changed with time. We know this from the Dead Sea Scrolls.
The Dead Sea Scrolls are ancient manuscripts that were discovered between 1947 and 1956 in eleven caves near Khirbet Qumran, on the northwestern shores of the Dead Sea.
They are approximately two thousand years old, dating from the third century BCE to the first century CE.https://www.imj.org.il/en/wings/shrine-book/dead-sea-scrolls
Because of the discovery of these scrolls, we know that the bible that we have today is accurate.
Because of what Jesus has done in my life, He is my most favorite friend. He’s the most faithful one. So he’s definitely my favorite historical figure.
His name is above all names, and every knee shall bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of the Father.
