What profession do you admire most and why?
I want to give a shout out to a profession that isn’t admired except to young children. We have a lot to learn from young children. I remember when my sons were young, and they looked forward to a visit every week holding a plate of cookies for the trash collectors.
No one celebrates or gives awards to trash collectors, but their job is vital. I live in the city and a one day delay can cause a big problem. A week long delay would cause pestilence. So let’s give the trash collectors some respect!
I pray for people and help them to take out spiritual trash, and that’s important too. If you hold on to unforgiveness, it harms you more than the person that you’re unwilling to forgive.
If you’re a follower of Jesus, you’ve been forgiven much. Be like Jesus – forgive like Him.
