To ask bigger

What skills or lessons have you learned recently?

We all want and need things – some reasonable and some not.

The Bible tells how God wants to bless his people. I am one of his people. Therefore God wants to bless me as I obey and trust Him.

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. JOHN 15:7

So if I’m applying his word to my life  have a right to ask him for things. Because i’m abiding in him and his words in me.I know crazy things I can’t ask for. Since his words are in me deeply.I know what he wants for my life.

I keep a prayer journal and I write down my requests to God. I also thank him for answer prayer.

Faith is like a muscle. You have to start small and gradually. It gets bigger. Just like your physical muscles, you have to start with a fifteen pound weights, and then eventually you can do the fifty pound weights.

I started small. I asked God for honor at work and then I was honored at work in a company newsletter.

My prayers got bigger. I asked for my son to repent and start following Jesus. Now he’s in every Bible study with me and is a great prayer warrior.

Then my prayers got bold. A friend told me that someone they knew was missing, and they feared that he was kidnapped. I prayed Lord send angels to free him like you did for Peter. His kidnappers was transporting him and others to another location so they drugged them. He was suddenly woken up and his restraints were loosed. He helped free everyone in the back of that van – four others.

Is there anything my God cannot do? He can’t force you to love him. He can’t sin.

Other than that, my God Jesus spoke this world and all the galaxys into existence with his Word. Nothing is impossible for him.

My friend ask God to forgive your sins and be lord of your life. Jesus can change your life and give you joy, peace and hope. Nothing is impossible for him.

Maybe you’re thinking that you don’t have enough faith to ask God for anything. All you need is faith the size of a mustard seed and I will pray for you. I asked for something that I didn’t even think he could do. His spirit told me to pray for a man in a wheelchair. I didn’t really think he could do it through me. But I prayed for him, and the next thing I knew he was coming down the hall walking and no one was more shocked than me. God used my unbelief to teach me to believe.

Father God, I pray for the reader of this blog.I pray for their small faith to become big, bold faith and I pray that with their small prayers, you would meet them and show them that they can trust in you in Jesus name.I pray amen.

Oh, I also learned how to make some great indian food.  Indian food has flavor complexity. The spices are great. I can’t wait until I can make some more.
