Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?
So the bible says he who doesn’t work shouldn’t eat. If we are able to work, we should.
Well, there’s also housework that it takes time out of our day. Basically that leaves the weekend for play.
Cooking is about the only thing that I do for fun on a daily basis.
Things to do. We don’t have self cleaning houses. Even with some of the modern conveniences like a dishwasher in a washing machine it still involves some effort.
Then there’s the mission. God came to this Earth to redeem us.
So play isn’t high up on the list of priorities. I do paint and crochet sometimes but spending time with God is higher on my list of priorities. His return is near, and each person is responsible for making themselves ready. We have to keep our spiritual lamps lit. I want him to know by my life that i’m in love with Jesus.
Following Jesus
