If you could un-invent something, what would it be?

People need a direct line to God.

There’s a lot of people with needs who need a direct line to God. So how about having a toll free number to God. 1800askLord.

I’m sure everyone would call. Or would they?

So I would uninvent, this notion that God is distant from us, and we can’t know Him or His will for our lives. He had it written down, literally in the Bible. But people are too wrapped up in there smartphones
to read it. So I’d probably uninvent the smartphone too.

Anyone can have direct access to God the Father through Jesus Christ our Lord right now.

Asking Christ for forgiveness for your sins is the first step. If you believe that God raised him from the dead and in your heart, you want him to be Lord of your life then you have a direct line to God.

You don’t have to worry about long distance charges. It’s free any day anytime.  There’s no callback after business hours. He’s always open! You don’t have to worry about reception. If you’re in Christ, the reception is fine.

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James5:16

Your prayers are effective. Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, you are a powerhouse when you are talking to God.

Prayer is so cool because of that! Here’s how you can do it more:

• Keep a daily prayer journal with all your requests.It is so fun to go back and look at what prayer journals and see how God has answered your prayers!!!! And it keep a list of your family and friends and their prayer needs.
• Have preprinted psalms of praise to read out loud to him.
• When you’re in a public place, pretend to be looking at your phone, but instead pray for everybody who walks by to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus.
• Call friends and ask, “hey, how can I pray for you?”
• Pray for people in your social media feeds.
• Pray for people in the news. Our leaders really need prayer.

Jesus wants to be a part of everything in your life. He wants to be the center of it. So talk to him about everything!
