What makes a good leader?
Okay, there’s no such thing as a perfect leader because we’re all human. The only perfect leader was/is Jesus.
A good leader doesn’t:
- Take credit for his team’s work. He gives credit to them.
- Threaten with negative consequences.
- Use a condescending tone of voice.
- Belittle best efforts.
A good leader does:
- Sandwich negative feedback in between positive.
- Teach skills for success. If there was a mistake made, they show how to do it correctly.
- Offer positive reinforcement.
- Show’s genuine concern for people.
- Accommodates requests when possible.
- Motivates and inspires to do better.
It’s easier to do all that with the Holy Spirit’s presence inside of you!
