Back in Old Testament days, false prophets were killed. Nowadays they aren’t so we need discernment from God to sift through them.
Hint: most are false.

Run from any teacher that teaches things that are contrary to the word of God. If you hear a “Christian” book title that sounds good playing to your emotions it’s probably a false teacher. When someone recommends a book to me, I ask google if it’s a false teacher. If they are, a whole list of stuff comes up. Try that with some of the books on your bookshelf. Teach this method to others.
