For years I talked the Christian talk. People accepted me into places of leadership I should not have been because I was a fire insurance Christian. I wanted to escape the fires of hell, but I wasn’t led by the Spirit of God. My devotion to God wasn’t whole hearted and that’s not a saving faith.
What is a saving faith? It’s not words but power.
20For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power.
1 Corinthians 4:20
If your prayer journal isn’t full of answered prayers where is the power? Pray without ceasing and keep that prayer journal handy!
When the doctors saying there’s no hope, that’s the time that Jesus specializes in. He can do miracles doctors can’t.
When your family situation is bleak and you see no hope, Jesus can turn that situation around.
And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
