Oh it’s not just beef; it’s the whole cow!
- They posthumously gave Peter papal infallibility! This is the same Peter that said Lord, get away from me I am a sinner, and who deny the Lord three times after hanging with him for 3 1/2 years.
- Jesus said call no one father (as a religious term) but God. “And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.” Matthew 23:9.
- The inquisition was an abomination. The Catholic Church is plagued with abominations. Sex abuse scandals in the Catholic Church have become common place. It’s no longer shocking. Burning people they don’t agree with like William Tyndale and Joan of arc and they didn’t condemn the Nazi party. Catholic church leader ship is consistently on the side of wrong being anti-abortion doesn’t cover up your multitude of sins Catholic leaders.
- They add works to salvation requirements. you have to attend mass, be confirmed, go to confession, and do the rosary. Oh yeah and pay to get your sins forgiven or somebody else’s sins forgiven was the practice of indulgences.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—“ Ephesians 2;8 - Praying to anyone other than God is a form of WORSHIP and forbidden in the Bible. It is common Catholic practice.
- They don’t preach the born-again experience. This is the way to be saved. They’re leaving out the most important part that Jesus said twice in John chapter 3. Confirmation is not a born-again experience. Jesus said if you were not born again, you will not see the kingdom of God.
- Religious icons, medals, and candles. They amount to idols and witchcraft.
- Catechism writings, and the Bible often are in conflict.

But Catholics quite literally do not believe nearly half of these things. I mean this with the upmost respect, but maybe you should do a bit more research on issues such as the definition of “papal infallibility”, “indulgences”, and “the rosary” before coming down so hard on them.

It was a mistake by Siri. I corrected it. Thanks for pointing it out. And if Catholics don’t believe their own faith, that’s funny. Christians do believe their faith and their book. And no one in my country needs a definition for any of those. Papal infallibility, indulgences, and the Rosary are known by practically everybody in the United States.
