What sacrifices have you made in life?
I was selfish and did what I wanted not thinking how it would affect others. All that changed. I changed, but not by my hand. I was powerless to change me.
Jesus changed me. When the Holy Spirit dwells inside you a person has his power to be transformed as we renew our mind by reading the Bible.
Scientific studies show that people who read the Bible 4 times a week are happier people. But the Bible says why. He transforms you to be more like him and when you are more like him, things are better. You have more peace more joy and more love for others.
The Holy Spirit is the best part of my life now. No one can take Him from me. God please increase Him in me; I must decrease.
Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
Matthew 10:39
Following Jesus 
Just remember, only the power of GOD and the holy spirit can reinforce your will to change, you may believe you were forced, but in his eyes.. it was your time.
