If you had a million dollars to give away, who would you give it to?
A million dollars isn’t much compared to knowing Jesus.
Money can be spent quickly, and then you’re left with an emptiness. Jesus, on the other hand provides infinite wealth including love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness and self control. He provides wisdom and the payment for our sin. Who needs a million dollars when you’ve got all that in Him?
In most religions, people are trying to work their way to God and pay for their sins themselves. The God of the Bible punched his way into this world and paid for our sins.
The scrolls found in the caves of Qumran prove that the Bible was preserved from the first century. The Dead Sea scrolls proved without a shadow of a doubt that the Bible was preserved. They put all claims that the Bible was corrupted in the grave.
