What’s a chapter of your life you’d title “The Hard Years” — and what got you through it?
The hard years I should have seen coming because there were signs. The details of which I don’t care to share publicly. WordPress shame on you for asking.
But I will share what got me through it: Jesus. Some have religion and a bunch of rules that religious people follow to hopefully be accepted by their god.
But me – I have the living God on the inside of me! Jesus doesn’t abandon his children. Not everyone is a child of God. Only those whom the Son of God has redeemed are children of God. I’m sorry if that offends you, but it’s straight out of the Bible which is God’s word.
The good news is anyone can become a child of God. Will today be the day that you become a child of God?
Perhaps you already think that you’re a child of God but there’s no fruit of the Spirit in your life. If that’s the case, you ‘ve probably not been truly born again. Your life should demonstrate holiness and increasing fruit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, self control if you are truly seeking His face.
If you’re seeing out bursts of anger in your life and arguing with everyone this could be a sign that you are living in.The flesh, because these are works of the flesh mentioned in Galatians, chapter five.
Would you describe yourself as in love with Jesus? If not, that’s a problem because you’re supposed to be the bride.
It’s really easy to fall off the wagon spiritually. The devil blinds us to the fact that we’ve fallen off in hopes that he’ll keep us there. Do you think God is happy with half hearted love? No he’s not he’s a jealous God. He doesn’t want to share your devotion with materialism, idols and sin.
Today is your reminder that heaven is calling out to you. Remember your first love: the king of kings and lord of lords.
I pray for each person reading this today. May you be renewed in your faith and longing expectantly for our savior’s return.
