What is your favorite quote?
John is my favorite book, so naturally it’s from John. My younger son actually pointed this verse out to me a couple of years ago.
People are all about John 3:16. But the next verse, I really love.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
This shows the heart of God is love. He doesn’t want to condemn people… because they already are according to verse eighteen.
Verse seventeen shows God who says, hey, I’m gonna do this for you. It’s gonna cost me my most precious son, who is a part of me but I love you that much.
Who can turn away that kind of love?
When people hear the word Jesus, they think religion, but I hear love.
For those who you know Jesus, but are on the fence playing both sides, would you like your girl or your guy to do that to you? Would you like them to say: Hey, I like you, but this one’s kind of cute.
So come on off the fence and give Jesus your best.
