Tastes change

What do you love now, that you hated when you were younger?

When I matured my taste changed. As i’ve aged they’ve refined even further. When I was young, I didn’t like onions in meatloaf. I would pick them out!

Now, I eat onions, Galore. Even make onion soup, onion curry, stuffed onions and put them in practically everything. And I don’t eat meat.

So literally i’m upside down from the person I was when I was young. In more ways than one. When I was young
It was all about me. Now it’s about others.

The most important flip-flop I’ve done
Is living for Jesus. I’m not talking about a religious life where you go to church. You give money you sing songs. I’m talking about a life that’s sometimes difficult. Loving those who are unlovely is difficult. Forgiving people from the heart can be difficult.

We have a saying in America, the proof is in the pudding. That means if it doesn’t taste good then who cares what you say.

The proof is character that looks like Jesus and has the fruit of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness and self control.

I’m a child of God who has found joy and peace in Jesus, the King of the universe. He alone is worthy of all praise and glory. I’m a bivocational pastor and vegan who crochets and talks all things Jesus.
